Our February meeting was a great night of learning and networking with some amazing local business people.

Thank you to Kevin Gammie from Growth Mentors for educating us about Grants and the application process, and for coming at such short notice.  Your presentation was very informative and entertaining.

It was great to have Peter Flannery Councillor for div. 2 at the dinner table.  Thanks for the update Peter.  Can’t wait to find out when the Bancroft Lagoon will be finished :)

And last but not least, we have some winners for the first month of It’s A Beautiful Day In Deception Bay campaign.  Congratulations go to first place and winner of a $25 voucher for Mermaids By The Bay, Tash Reale for this photo.

Congratulations also to Ricky McFarlane for best professional photo, Kelly Lojen and Judy Ryan for 2nd and 3rd placing, and to Kelly Lojen and Joseph Fay for highly commended photos.

See the photo gallery at the end of this page.

We also managed to receive some lovely stories, mostly about the youth of Deception Bay and there is no doubt we have a bright future.  Take a look for yourself at our
